The Swift-BAT 58 Month Survey
Abstract
We present the catalog derived from the first 58 months of data from the Swift-BAT all sky hard X-ray (15-195 keV) survey. The 58 month catalog is the first to use a newly improved data processing technique that incorporates an individual CZT detector gain correction as well as improved noise handling and source detection. We report on the number of AGN and galactic sources detected in the survey. We also find clear evidence of large scale structure in the BAT AGN sample and detect nearby structure such as the Great Attractor and supergalactic plane. We will discuss the spatial distribution of AGN in the survey and their correlation with large scale structure in the nearby galaxy population (z < 0.05).
